Learning Life`s Lessons
Do you learn life`s lessons by being told not to do something, how to do something or by experience?
Not to do something
This is a contradiction it terms. To not do, first requires an understanding in our mind of what to do and we know what happens next. Try not visualizing a box of read head matches. The mind naturally envisions matches. So by being told what not to do automatically draws to us that which we focus upon.
While browsing trading books at borders (bookstore) a gentleman approached with a worried look on his face. He launched a tirade of the dangers of trading these instruments to the extent one could feel the fear ( false emotions appearing real) emanating from him. It was as if were looking in “Weapons of Mass Destruction” section. On imagining the gent experiencing multiple poor results, felt for him, however my results had been good and bad. He had simply accepted bad results as his truth and then set about warning any who would listen. His attempt to save a soul from his experience only entrenched my resolve to learn the world of trading to the extent of going beyond that fear which engulfed this man. This is a classic example of being told not to do something for fear of failure.. It brings out all the why not`s and enquisative nature in people.
How to do something
Being told how to do something is an effective way to learn life`s lessons. A mentor who has accomplished what you desire to do will point you in the right direction and correct
your course as you proceed. A more popular way to learn to do something is via seminars. More recently webinars from the comfort of your home. Should we learn only a couple of things by these methods it can mean all the difference (finer distinctions).
Learning by Experience
Experience is simply doing that which you desire to do, failing and having the qualities to keep going in the face of adversity. No matter which course you take, there is no better teacher in our world than experience.
Blogging about experiences is all about trial and error. The more you write the better you put your message across. All three methods can be utilized depending on how you learn best.
This is by no means a definitive course in life`s lessons. We all learn in different ways and unfortunetly the lesson is often repeated many times. Should you feel so please add your thoughts into the comments section below.

Learning Life`s Lessons…
Do you learn life`s lessons by being told not to do something, how to do something or by experience? Not to do something This is a contradiction it terms….
Hello John,
I so agree that the mind can not hear the words that follow “Dont” or “NOT” or “No” so its a matter of changing what we are saying into a way that we can understand….for example say “I Will” instead of I Wont…since I have read the book The Secrets Of The Perfect Living I have changed my mindset so that now I am able to move our life forward with our blogs and our finances
Cheers
